ARRIVAL DAY
As you land at Kilimanjaro International airport or Arusha Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by your experienced driver-guide, ready with a comfortable safari vehicle to kick off your Tanzanian adventure. We'll ensure you have bottled mineral water and soft drinks for your comfort during the 45-50 minute road transfer to your chosen lodge or hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. DAY 01: DRIVE ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES
At 8:00 am, following breakfast, your guide will pack your luggage and safari lunches for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park for an authentic day of game drives, and game viewings. This expansive park boasts diverse landscapes, including woodlands, baobab trees, and flooded grasslands. You'll enjoy thrilling game drives with chances to see lions, hyenas, zebras, elephants, wildebeests, and various bird species. DAY 02: EMBARK TO LAKE NATRON FOR NATURE EXCURSIONS
Start your morning with an early satisfying breakfast as you prepare to embark on an exciting journey to Lake Natron via Engaruka. Lake Natron is a soda lake famed for its significant flamingo population. The lake is situated on the north of the Ngorongoro Conservation area, sharing its stunning landscape with the active volcano, Ol Doinyo L'Engai. As you arrive at L Lake Natron, you'll visit the Ngarasero waterfalls, a natural wonder that promises an unforgettable experience followed by a walk to the shore of Lake Natron to witness the diverse array of wild bird species, and the breathtaking views of the surrounding environments. DAY 03: LAKE NATRON TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES
Rise and shine early in the morning, fueling up with a hearty breakfast to kick off your day. Today's adventure takes you from Lake Natron to the iconic Serengeti National Park via Klein`s gate for game drives en route to your lodge or camp. Serengeti national park is a vast plain area, spanning 14,763 square kilometers, is a wildlife haven, teeming with a rich diversity of animals. Here, you'll encounter awe-inspiring creatures such as lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, and an abundance of birdlife. After an eventful day of exploration, drive to your lodge or camp for an overnight stay. Your lodge or camp stay includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY 04-05: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
With its 14,763 km² area, Serengeti National Park stands as Africa's iconic destination for authentic wildlife safari experiences. It is here where the "HATARI." Movie by John Wayne's was filmed in 1962. The park is most celebrated for the annual wildebeest migration and the abundance of big cat species. Explore the breathtaking endless savannah plains, with excellent chances of encountering lion prides, buffaloes, cheetahs, jackals, elephants, crocodiles, ostriches, leopards, zebras, hartebeests, giraffes, and of course, the iconic wildebeests, among other remarkable wildlife. DAY 06: GAME DRIVES IN NGORONGORO CRATER TO LAKE EYASI
As the African sun rises, enjoy breakfast and set off for Ngorongoro Crater. This vast volcanic caldera, encircled by towering walls, hosts a rich variety of wildlife and bird species, including the rare black rhinoceros. During game drives, you'll encounter; hippos, ostriches, buffaloes, wildebeests, ibis stocks, starlings, lions, elephants, Kori bustards, crane birds, hyenas, gazelles, and many more fascinating creatures. After a day of exploration, ascend the crater walls and drive to Lake Eyasi for an overnight stay at your camp or lodge. Your lodge or camp stay includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
DAY 07: EXPLORE THE CULTURE OF THE HADZABE IN LAKE EYASI, LATER, DRIVE BACK TO ARUSHA
Following breakfast, you'll set off for Lake Eyasi, where you'll engage in an authentic cultural tour with the Hadzabe people, an indigenous group living in the central rift valley. They maintain a primitive lifestyle, reminiscent of the Kalahari Bushmen, relying on traditional hunting and wild fruit gathering for sustenance. The Hadzabe's unique history and way of life offer a captivating opportunity to explore and experience their culture, traditions, and customs. They are known for their warm hospitality and willingness to share their heritage. Later, you'll head back to Arusha for an overnight stay at your hotel or lodge.
