ARRIVAL DAY

As you land at Kilimanjaro International airport or Arusha Airport,thinking about your Tanzania wildlife safari, you’ll be warmly greeted by your experienced driver-guide, ready with a comfortable safari vehicle to kick off your Tanzanian adventure. We’ll ensure you have bottled mineral water and soft drinks for your comfort during the 45-50 minute road transfer to your chosen lodge or hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. Your lodge or hotel stay includes bed, and breakfast.

DAY 01: DRIVE ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES

At 8:00 am, following breakfast, your guide will pack your luggage and safari lunches for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park for an authentic day of game drives, and game viewings. This expansive park boasts diverse landscapes, including woodlands, baobab trees, and flooded grasslands. You’ll enjoy thrilling game drives with chances to see lions, hyenas, zebras, elephants, wildebeests, and various bird species. DAY 02: DRIVE TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES

After an 8:00 am breakfast, set off from the lodge or camp with your delectable packed lunches for a day of game drives and wildlife sightings in Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the African Great Rift Valley, this park is hidden within towering escarpment walls and features lush green forests and a Soda Lake. Expect to encounter wildebeests, giraffes, baboons, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and a rich variety of bird species. You can also observe hippos from an elevated wooden trail. DAY 03: TRANSIT TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK VIA NGORONGORO AREA

Tanzania’s vastness offers endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. At 8:30 AM, following breakfast, embark on a captivating safari journey to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Traverse forest trails, reach the crater viewpoint for stunning views, and marvel at the diverse wildlife and bird species. You can choose to visit a Maasai boma for a brief cultural tour or stop at Olduvai Gorge, renowned for significant archaeological discoveries by Dr. Leakey and Mary Leakey. Lunch on the way followed by a scenic game drive en route to your lodge or camp for an overnight stay.

DAY 04-06: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

With its 14,763 km² area, Serengeti National Park stands as Africa’s iconic destination for authentic wildlife safari experiences. It is here where the “HATARI.” Movie by John Wayne’s was filmed in 1962. The park is most celebrated for the annual wildebeest migration and the abundance of big cat species. Explore the breathtaking endless savannah plains, with excellent chances of encountering lion prides, buffaloes, cheetahs, jackals, elephants, crocodiles, ostriches, leopards, zebras, hartebeests, giraffes, and of course, the iconic wildebeests, among other remarkable wildlife. DAY 07: EN ROUTE GAME DRIVES SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Commence your day with an early morning breakfast, bidding adieu to the vast Serengeti plains as you embark on thrilling game drives en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Relish a picturesque lunch at a scenic picnic spot. In the late afternoon, reach your lodge or camp, complete the check-in process, and indulge in a refreshing shower, followed by a delicious dinner and an overnight stay. DAY 08: GAME DRIVES IN NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

As the African sun rises, enjoy breakfast and set off for Ngorongoro Crater. This vast volcanic caldera, encircled by towering walls, hosts a rich variety of wildlife and bird species, including the rare black rhinoceros. During game drives, you’ll encounter; hippos, ostriches, buffaloes, wildebeests, ibis stocks, starlings, lions, elephants, Kori bustards, crane birds, hyenas, gazelles, and many more fascinating creatures.
